Data can be logged in the RAM or file on the target computer.
The trigger measurement can be started via the MDI server (e.g. by Vision) - using switch trigger start.
The following figure shows the start of a measurement by a internal event (level trigger). The measurement will start if the trigger signal passes the trigger-level in the correct direction.
