This section outlines the possible configurations that can be used with SCALE-RT.
The following figure illustrates a '3 Computer Configuration'.
Workflow:
| 1. | Model Generation with Scilab®/Scicos®, SimulationX® or Matlab®/Simulink® at the Simulation Computer. |
| 2. | Model Transfer to the RT-Target by the Simulation Computer or Host Computer (if the model is located on the network). |
| 3. | Startup of the Model from the Host computer. |
| 4. | Visualization and Data Logging with the Host computer. |
The following figure illustrates a '2 Computer Configuration'. The Host computer is used for the model generation and model control at the RT-Target.
It is also possible to use the RT-Target for the Visualization and Model Control. With this configuration the RT-Target will be a standalone simulator. A standalone simulator is not supported by Suite and Insight, because both tools are developed for Windows.
