If you have already installed CygwinTM or a previous version of SCALE-RT, please uninstall the software before you start this setup.
If no CygwinTM uninstaller is located on your Windows system it can be uninstalled manually:
Depending on installation settings of CygwinTM for 'current user' or 'all users' there will be some entries in the Windows registry.
The CygwinTM installation root path can be found in the following Windows registry entry:
| • | <CYGWIN_ROOT> HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Cygnus Solutions\Cygwin\mounts v2\/native |
and/or
| • | <CYGWIN_ROOT> HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Cygnus Solutions\Cygwin\mounts v2\/native |
Uninstall CygwinTM manually:
| 1. | Remove the CygwinTM installation root path and all subdirectories. |
| 2. | Delete <CYGWIN_ROOT> path entry from the variable path (The path dialog is located in: 'Control Panel'-->'System'-->'Advanced system settings') check the user variables and the system variables. |
| 3. | Remove the CygwinTM registry entry ('HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Cygnus Solutions\Cygwin' and 'HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Cygnus Solutions\Cygwin') |
