SCALE-RT FOR WINDOWS HOST INSTALLATION GUIDE
The 'SCALE-RT for Windows Host installation' contains the following software:
| • | SCALE-RT Cross Compiler |
| • | SCALE-RT SimulationX Extension |
| • | SCALE-RT MATLAB®/Simulink® Extension |
| • | SCALE-RT Scilab®/Scicos® Extension |
| • | SCALE-RT Insight |
| • | SCALE-RT Suite |
| • | SCALE-RT Libraries |
| • | Original Scilab 4.1.2 installer |
Execute the following steps to start the main SCALE-RT installation routine:
| a. | Insert the SCALE-RT Installation CD into the DVD/CD-ROM drive of your computer. The CD should start automatically. If the CD fails to start automatically, go to 'Start' -> 'Run' and type the following command in the command window: d:\ scale-rt-host-setup.exe Where d: is your DVD or CD-ROM drive. Alternatively double-click on the computer-icon on the desktop, select the DVD or CD-ROM drive and double-click on the 'scale-rt-host-setup.exe'. The screen below appears. |
| b. | Click 'Next'. Some information on the setup of the SCALE-RT will be shown as in the following screen. |
| c. | The next dialog shows the license agreement. Please read the license agreement carefully. |
| d. | If you have accepted the license agreement the customer information dialog will be shown. Please enter your name and the name of your company. |
| e. | The next dialog offers 2 possibilities. Type in the License Key that you have received with your copy of SCALE-RT. Alternatively you can mark the 'Trial' checkbox Note: If you do not have a License Key one can be ordered via the following web location http://www.scale-rt.com/shop. Please be aware that the Trial version does not offer support for measurement hardware. Click 'Next' to proceed. |
| f. | Select the components to install and click 'Next' as shown in the following screen: |
| g. | The SCALE-RT tools, libraries and documentation will be installed in the default folder as shown in the following screen. If another installation folder is required click ‘Browse’, otherwise click ‘Next’. |
| h. | If you have selected to install the SCALE-RT Cross Compiler, the following screen will be shown: |
| i. | If you have selected to install the SCALE-RT MATLAB®/Simulink® Extension the following screen will be shown: |
| j. | SCALE-RT installer is ready to start the installation. Click 'Install' to continue. |
